Meet me
I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brasil, which I left in 2008 to backpack alone through Latin America, the subject of study for my future PhD in History. And I never came back to live in Brasil! Since then, I have been moving around the Americas, Europe and Asia, working mainly with handmade jewelry and, in the last 8 years, with yoga and massages.
I first came in contact with yoga when I was still living in São Paulo in the end of my twenties, after a life without any physical activity besides walking from my house to the metro station. Since the beginning I was impressed to fell for the first time certain parts of my body that I have never been consciosly aware of before! As I left Brazil to backpack around the world, slowly by slowly Yoga became a bigger part of my life. I start to study and to practice its aspects that go beyong the asanas (physical postures), and develop a meditation practice - till I had the opportunity to start teaching, in 2013. I decided to pursue a certification and studied in Brazil, India and Thailand. Since then I have taught in many countries and languages, specially in Nicaragua - where I live most of the time. There, I developed the 4 Days Yoga Intensive – a program that aim to help a beginner to start or a practitioner to deepen a daily yoga practice.
I hope I will get the chance to show you why Yoga is so special to me and why it has became popular and changed so many people´s life!

I bring to my classes what inspires my personal practice
I create balanced sequences to develop strength and flexibility in a pace that allows you to focus on the breath and to be fully aware of your movements, at the same time keeping a warm up body to release toxins from the tissues and to make possible a health range of motion on the joints. Following the yoga definition itself, my understand of the Asana (Yoga postures) practice is to open a deep connection between body and mind, preparing ourselves for the pranayamas (breathing techniques) and meditation.

Yoganidra is a conscious deep relaxation technique that trains your mind to withdraw from the senses and to enter in a state of full awareness. Its is a simple and effective tool for your daily life: it will help you to relax, to focus, to fall asleep easier, to create and nurture intension for your life. Besides helping to boost your immune system by awakening your parasympathetic nervous system (your rest and digest mode) YogaNidra will improve the communication between your conscious and subconscious mind - or deeper self.
To meditate is to train the mind to be fully aware of the present moment.
Our mind is in constant activity, receiving stimulus from the outside world and creating stories after stories with that. If you put a 5 minutes timer on your cell phone and close your eyes, you will realize how difficult is to maintain the mind still and silent – instead you will witness a stream of thought and sensations that are in constant move.
A Meditation practice trains your mind to slow down and eventually to be quiet, to come back to here and now and to take a breath before reacting to whatever comes in your direction. In the same way that we detox our bodies, this space of silence allow the mind to get rid of anything that does not serve us anymore. My aim is to help you start your Meditation practice and to be able to keep a space for that in your daily life.

4 DAYS YOGA INTENSIVE
I created this program in 2016 and since then I had dozens of students starting or deepen their yoga practice.
This intensive focuses on identifying your personal needs and develop a yoga sequence that you can keep practicing back home. It starts with an interview where the instructor finds out what are you looking for in the program, and proceeds with a series of completely private and personalized yoga, massage and meditation sessions that will help you to start, develop or deepen your daily yoga practice.
You will take home a brochure with your personal routine with visual examples of the postures that will help you to have a complete practice by yourself!

MASSAGE
Just the word massage already make you fell relaxed, right?
Besides releasing tensions, a massage session energize and heal the body. Its is a powerful tool to promote health and overall well-being, trough the manual hands-on movements and manipulation of the tissues and muscles in the body – and this improves circulation, soothes muscles, stimulates the skin and the nervous system. It releases toxins from the tissues, create space in between the layers and allow the blood to nourish every cell. Besides the physical benefits, just taking a moment to dedicate to yourself boost your mood and improve the connection with your self-love.
I offer a Swedish Massage based session, also known as relaxing massage – mixing a bit with other techniques that I have been studying and practicing (and receiving!) for the last 10 years. Reach out to me for an appointment.
